Nucleus RTOS provides a small, readily understood, deterministic scheduler which can be configured for resource constrained devices based on ARM Cortex-M3 or Cortex-M4 devices or it can be scaled up with middleware options for ARM application processors such as Cortex-A8/A9/A15 with high-end OS features like processes, MPU/MMU memory protection, high-end UI development using Qt, communications stacks etc. This scalability allows you to use Nucleus RTOS in your low-end IoT devices as well as high-end IoT devices. No other commercial RTOS provides this level of device scalability.

Two versions of Nucleus are available: Nucleus ReadyStart and Nucleus SafetyCert for IoT applications that require compliance with safety process standards like IEC61508, DO-178C and IEC62304. SafetyCert is intended for use in safety-certified applications, for example the patient therapy part of a medical device.
